I’m Aayansh, a product designer at Recykal. I care about the unglamorous parts of product: operations, compliance, field realities, and making them feel effortless.

Before design, I helped start a trekking company in the Himalayas. It taught me more about users, logistics and trust than any tool has.

How I work

Four things I keep coming back to.

Watch before you build

The clearest brief usually comes from watching someone struggle with the old way, not from a meeting room.

Systems over screens

A screen is only the surface. When something feels broken, the fix almost always lives one layer up.

Clarity is a kindness

Every extra step, label or decision is a small tax on someone’s day. Taking that friction away is a form of respect.

Design for the messy middle

Real work is rarely tidy. I design for the tired person on a weak connection in a noisy room, not for the clean demo.

Beyond work

There’s usually a camera nearby.

Photography is how I slow down and pay attention. A lot of the way I notice detail in products started behind a viewfinder.
